Vinyasa Flow Yoga
This is a vigorous style where movements flow from one to the next, linked by "vinyasas", a particular sequence of movements.
My original training was in an Ashtanga-insprired style. So, true to my roots, my classes usually begin with a few Sun Salutations to warm up.
Please contact each studio to book onto classes.
Yin yoga is the opposite and perfect compliment to yang styles like vinyasa flow. This class is very slow and we hold postures for several minutes.
Your muscles will get a stretch, but the focus here is actually pn your connective tissue: fascia, tendons & ligaments. Perhaps the hardest work of all though, is on your mind. Challenge yourself to get quiet in this surprising and beautiful practice.
Private Yoga Sessions
Are you new to yoga? Having a few private sessions with a teacher before your first public class can be a great way to become more familiar with the terminology, basic postures, and safe transitions.
If you already do yoga, having a private session can help you take your practice to the next level. I can work with you to improve your technique so you get the most out of your studio classes.
Thai massage is quite different to a remedial or swedish relaxation style massage. You will definitely feel relaxed, but also energised!
This traditional massage is done fully clothed (little or no oil) on a mat on the floor. I use pressure and stretching to relax your muscles, soothe your parasympathetic (stress) nervous system, and stimulate your autonomic (organs) nervous system.
